Our first meeting of the year was our annual soup supper held on the cold night of January 24. The
ladies really went to work providing many delicious soups for the 21 members present. Because of
sickness, Harry and I weren't able to be there and I really appreciate everyone's willingness to help take care of everything. We missed being there and
having our soup at home wasn't quite the same as sharing it with you. Thanks to all of you for your help.
We will show the pictures from 2007 at a future
meeting. I think you will enjoy re-living some of our activities through these pictures.
On February 21 we are planning to go to Gray's
Cafeteria in Mooresville for lunch (weather
permitting). We will have devotions and then leave the church house around 11:00 and drive over
together. Plan to join us for lunch and good
fellowship.
**For all of those interested in taking a fall trip again this year, please come at 10:30 on the 21st to make plans. The earlier we make plans, the better, so I'd like to get our destination set and make the tentative reservations. If you can't be with us on this day but have suggestions or thoughts about the trip, please see me or anyone who might plan to go so your ideas can be shared with the group.
