Our Christmas dinner was held on December 20 at the church with 32 present. We had such a fun evening
eating, visiting and playing games and a gift
exchange. Our thanks to the decorating committee for the beautiful job they did in the gym. We enjoyed the added festive touch to our party. Once again, Helen took care of our entertainment and everyone enjoyed the games and time together.
Our next meeting will be our annual soup supper to be held on January 24, at 6:00 p.m. at the church house. Ladies are asked to bring a crock-pot of your favorite soup, or a veggie tray, bread/crackers/cornbread, or a dessert. We might play a group game, and I'm
planning to have a powerpoint presentation of all
pictures taken of our outings or activities in 2007.
Note: If anyone has pictures from last year's
outings, please loan them to me to scan onto our
picture disc to share with everyone. I will return them to you.
This soup supper has become an annual event and it always seems to fall on a cold night so the soup and fixings are perfect. I also hope to be able to share some plans I have for 2008 and get your input too. Plan to come join us that
evening.
